Our client in Burnaby is looking for a senior Trainer to support a high-priority Budget Management Transformation Project on a 3-month contract. Job Responsibility:
Facilitate live virtual and in-person training sessions for budget managers and operational leaders
Design modular training materials including facilitation guides, slide decks, and learner workbooks
Develop hands-on scenario-based exercises for the Cashflow and Financial Forecasting system
Create new instructional content independently to meet emerging needs during the training surge
Produce e-learning modules and job aids that align with established learning architecture and standards
Work with subject matter experts to ensure all training content is accurate and reflects current processes
Collect and analyze participant feedback to recommend immediate refinements to delivery approaches
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in instructional design and facilitation within complex or public sector environments
A university degree in Education, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field combined with an Adult Education certification
Proven ability to translate complex financial or system-based content into accessible and engaging learning materials
Strong proficiency in using Articulate 360 for the development of e-learning modules
Previous experience supporting large-scale organizational change or system rollouts under tight timelines
