Job Description:

As a Trainer and Assessor with Wilmar Sugar, you will help develop and support our people by delivering practical, engaging training and assessment that builds skills, confidence, and ensures compliance across our sites. A key focus over the next 12 months will be progressing and maintaining Verification of Competency (VOC) requirements and improving completion rates across six priority online courses.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver training and assessments
  • maintain accurate training records, track progress, complete reports, and help schedule compliance training across sites
  • update and develop training materials
  • collaborate with site leaders and colleagues, provide advice and support, and contribute to projects
  • encourage safe work practices, maintain qualifications, and actively support team

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Queensland “C” Class driver’s licence
  • possess or be willing to obtain qualifications in High-Risk Work licences, Earthmoving equipment, LVSR/CPR, Confined Space Entry and Safe Work at Heights
  • confident communicator
  • great with people
  • organised and reliable

Nice to have:

  • WHSQ Assessor registration and accredited assessment capability
  • proficiency in MS Office
