Job Description:

This internship provides an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of various premedia and production artwork functions. The intern is responsible for completing a variety of projects, gaining knowledge of and interacting with the operations team and other business professionals throughout the internship. A focused Approach on Printing industry standards namely, (offset, Gravure, flexo). An insight on the technologies that enable color development and printer machine data.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supports day-to-day operations of the production department to produce production artwork according to client’s and technical specifications
  • Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of high quality basic to intermediate level Artwork, effectively using industry standard software, tools, and Photo and Color manipulation techniques
  • Photo composition
  • Color manipulation (CMYK, RGB, Grayscale)
  • Retouching
  • Works with and supports the color managing department, providing assistance with special projects as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Art & Design, Graphic Art, Printing Technology, Advertising, Interior Design, Multimedia, or equivalent
  • Required skills: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat
  • Languages required: English (written and spoken)
  • Mature, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
