Trainee Technician

• Manufacture, repair, and maintain prosthetic and orthotic devices to the highest standards, ensuring every product supports patient mobility and comfort
• Follow clinician prescriptions and guidelines meticulously, ensuring each device meets individual patient needs
• Adhere to all quality assurance procedures and regulations and health and safety standards
• Ensure accurate stock booking out and usage and promptly report any issues to the appropriate team members
• Handle all patient information with the utmost discretion and in line with established procedures
• Work closely with colleagues and the Workshop Manager to uphold and elevate workshop standards

• Demonstrates a strong ‘can-do’ mindset, approaching challenges with enthusiasm and determination
• Clear, confident communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to build positive working relationships
• Maintains a high level of accuracy and precision in all tasks
• Possesses a solid grasp of device functionality and an eagerness to expand technical knowledge
• Think critically and creatively to identify and implement effective solutions
• Strong practical ability and fine motor skills suitable for hands-on technical work
