Job Description:

Join The Team at this School and Train to be a Teacher! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of autistic children? This School, an Ofsted 'Outstanding' day school for children aged 4-19, is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, and Nursery Workers to join their dynamic teaching support team.

Job Responsibility:

Follow individualised curriculum's, plan and deliver lessons focusing on communication and life skills
Apply theory-based interventions to enhance the quality of life for their pupils
Encourage and support pupils in maintaining hygiene standards
Ensure teaching methods are effective and appropriate for each child's needs
Assist with break time supervision and support activities like playground and snack time

Requirements:

Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children and disabilities
Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE in English Language & Maths or equivalent
Comfortable working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour and providing personal/intimate care when needed
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
