Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Trainee Teachers to join a vibrant and inclusive community that integrates therapy, care, and education to support students with complex learning difficulties. The school's mission is to help each student reach their full potential, regardless of their starting points or individual challenges.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, working closely with qualified teachers and therapists
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential
  • Assist with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Support students with personal care and mobility as needed
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and staff to foster a cohesive and collaborative community
  • Contribute to the spiritual and emotional development of students within the framework of the Catholic ethos

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN) is preferred
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with students with complex needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to promoting the school's Catholic ethos and values
  • A passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential
