Job Description:

Trainee Teacher - SEN School & College - Cranleigh: A Rewarding Path to Teaching Excellence. This role involves providing individualized support to learners with special educational needs, participating in a two-year training programme with opportunities for professional development, and making a real difference in the lives of students.

Job Responsibility:

Provide individualized support to learners as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
apply individualized learning plans
support students with special educational needs
participate in professional development programs
progress through the training programme to qualify as an HLTA and Level 1 ABA teacher

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
a full driving licence (preferred)
GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent)
eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
have experience working in education, children's homes, or EYFS (minimum 6 months)

Nice to have:

experience with Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECs) or other communication tools for non-verbal learners
experience with speech & language or BSL
