We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Teacher. Job Responsibility:
Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons across a broad curriculum, particularly focusing on Maths and English, tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN
Support students in developing their academic, social, emotional, and independent living skills
Work collaboratively with class teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a holistic learning experience for each student
Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, identifying areas for development and celebrating achievements
Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events
Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
Build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needs
GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or higher are required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude
A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, various special educational needs
