Pink Tile Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Bognor Regis to recruit a Trainee Teacher of Science for a September start. Job Responsibility

  • Support the planning and delivery of Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, working alongside experienced teachers
  • Develop the skills and knowledge needed to become an effective classroom practitioner
  • Build positive relationships with students and contribute to their academic and personal development
  • Foster curiosity, scientific thinking, practical investigation skills, and engagement within Science
  • Assist with assessing, monitoring, and recording student progress
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community
  • Engage fully with training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities
  • Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English Language and Mathematics
  • A-Level grades with a combined minimum of BCC, including at least a Grade B in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline)
  • A 2:2 degree or above in Science or a closely related subject
  • Eligibility to train to teach in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
