Job Description

This award winning setting is a specialist day school for autistic children and young people between the ages of 4-18 years. This specialist setting is committed to empowering individuals to make positive, personal choices that enhance their wellbeing, social inclusion and education. Since 2012, this setting has provided a safe and supportive environment, where learners work closely with the skilled 1:1 teaching assistants/trainee teachers to achieve their educational and personal development goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Support learners to build confidence, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and education goals
  • Work closely with families and health & social care professionals to ensure every learner receives tailored support

Requirements

  • Experience in an education support or care role
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
  • Right to work in the UK
