Job Description

We are looking for a Trainee Systems Support Administrator to support a range of critical business systems that underpin day-to-day operations across the organisation. Reporting to the Systems Manager, this role is responsible for providing first and second line support for core business systems, ensuring their effective operation and supporting users across the business. The Systems Support Administrator will act as a key point of contact for system-related queries, troubleshooting issues, maintaining data integrity, and supporting ongoing improvements and upgrades. There is the potential to enrol into an apprenticeship to help support your development in systems support.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide day-to-day system support for core business systems including GeneticIQ, Sage, Power BI, and PeopleHR
  • Act as the first point of contact for system-related support queries
  • Logging tickets on users behalf on service portal Halo
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues
  • Maintain system data integrity
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and testing
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Support onboarding and training for users
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
  • Manage user access and permissions
  • Support reporting and data extraction
  • Assist with system-related projects

Requirements

  • Experience ideally in a Systems Support or admin role
  • Awareness of systems and relation databases
