We are part of Marston Holdings, the UK’s largest judicial services group, providing integrated court order compliance. We now have an immediate vacancy for a Trainee Sheriff Officer based in Aberdeen. We are looking for a confident self-motivated individual looking for a new challenge and to gain a new qualification to build a career with us at Scott & Co.The role will be focused on giving you a qualification and 121 learning and support with our Sheriff Officers. After you have gained your qualification with us you will be qualified to be a Sheriff Officer for Scott & Co which includes an increase in salary along with a company car and the opportunity to train as a messenger at arms.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting the Sheriff Officer in the execution of their duties
  • Processing service updates reports and fees in real time via Optimise Tablet platform
  • Checking documents for accuracy corroborating facts and dialogue obtained during customer interactions
  • On road training from experienced Sheriff Officer
  • Weekly Training sessions delivered by Training & Development Manager
  • Homework assignments
  • Regular progress assessments

Requirements

  • SCQF Level 4 or equivalent
  • Excellent ability to communicate
  • Clear focus on quality and accuracy
  • Positive outlook and with a 'can do' attitude
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
