We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction division in Carlisle - There has never been a better time to join! The Role: Our construction division is a leading provider of specialist building and civil engineering services delivering exceptional quality for clients predominantly in the retail, manufacturing, housing and local authority sectors. This position will provide a fantastic opportunity for personal development and growth within an expanding company. As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor you will learn how to manage all cost relating to our projects from initial calculations to final figures, you will seek to minimise project costs and enhance value for money whilst ensuring all Story standards and quality are maintained. In addition to working and learning on the job, you will also be fully supported as you study for a Quantity Surveying degree on a part-time basis over 5 years attending university on a regular basis. You will be based at our offices in Carlisle with regular visits to sites, therefore a driving licence would be an advantage.

Job Responsibility

  • Learn how to manage all cost relating to projects from initial calculations to final figures

  • Study for a Quantity Surveying degree on a part-time basis over 5 years attending university on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Strong A 'Level results in Maths/Science based subjects or the equivalent
