Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Trainee Property Relationship Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position with our Brand Vaughan team based in Brighton Marina. This role has an attractive OTE of £25,500-£26,500, plus a range of other benefits and perks. Please note this role requires a driving licence as you'll be visiting properties, meeting tenants and investigating and reporting on maintenance issues.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing the management of properties, administrative tasks, compliance matters, and inquiries
  • Take the lead during student season in managing your portfolio to a high standard
  • Cultivating and nurturing robust connections with both landlords and tenants
  • Efficiently coordinating property upkeep, repairs, and contractor services
  • Guaranteeing strict adherence to safety regulations and staying abreast of industry developments
  • Strategically devising property enhancements to enhance value and profitability
  • Play an active role in reaching key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, consistently adhering to a results-driven mindset
  • Visit properties as required to complete tasks set by management with an exceptional standard of professionalism and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Optimise tenant registration processes and take a proactive stance in overseeing viewing appointments
  • Oversee and manage deposit negotiations and processes, ensuring they are conducted in strict accordance with company policies and procedures, maintaining professional standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in property management is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Demonstrate a proactive and optimistic attitude, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within a team
  • Display the ability to efficiently organise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities
  • Exhibit problem-solving capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and maintain excellent telephone etiquette
  • Possess computer proficiency and comfort with the software suite necessary for executing and overseeing daily tasks
  • This role requires a driving licence as you'll be visiting properties

  • Manage a neighbourhood patch in line with legislation and MSV policies by delivering a holistic People–Property–Place service, carrying out tenancy visits, inspections, and addressing estate or tenancy‑related issues while prioritising customer safety
  • Support effective tenancy and income management by building strong landlord–tenant relationships, managing arrears (including high‑level arrears, court work and evictions), and working closely with Income, Financial Resilience and Sustainment teams to help customers maintain successful tenancies
