Trainee Personal Injury Legal Advisor

• Manage a caseload of Pursuer Road Traffic Accident (RTA) Personal Injury claims, utilising the firm’s Case Management System and adhering to established internal procedures and best practices
• Progress cases efficiently to ensure clients receive timely, relevant, and professional legal advice, maintaining regular communication and managing expectations appropriately
• Identify cases where early litigation may be strategically advantageous and initiate proceedings promptly where appropriate
• Provide clear, commercially sound advice on settlement options, including litigation and cost risks, to support informed client decisions
• Meet and exceed performance targets—such as profit costs and settlement outcomes—while upholding the firm’s ethical standards and reputation
• Liaise effectively and in a timely manner with referral sources, medical agencies, expert witnesses, insurers, and other third parties to ensure proactive case progression
• Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by the business to support team objectives and client service delivery

• Effective time management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to prioritise workload
• Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels and departments
• Experience using a case management system and working knowledge of MS Office is desirable
