Job Responsibility:
Lead by example to embody supreme kindness
Ensure residents’ care planning arrangements are delivered impeccably
Offer residents a sense of choice and independence
Take up nursing tasks delegated
Report accidents
Spend time with someone demonstrating symptoms of dementia
Assist in tasks such as administering medicines, care of wounds, catheter care and other direct clinical tasks under supervision of a qualified nurse
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or working towards)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care where you have been a Senior Carer or a similar position with leadership responsibilities especially around administering medicines and leading a shift
Knowledge and understanding of the person-led care planning process and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns
Attendance at safeguarding training appropriate to role
