As a Trainee Nursing Assistant at HC-One, you will be a role model as you lead by example to embody the quality of supreme kindness in every aspect of your work in our Memory Care, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure residents’ care planning arrangements are delivered impeccably
  • Ensure residents have a sense of choice and independence
  • Undertake nursing tasks delegated
  • Report accidents
  • Spend time with someone demonstrating symptoms of dementia
  • Always have Resident wellbeing in mind
  • Assist in tasks such as administering medicines, care of wounds, catheter care and other direct clinical tasks under supervision of qualified nurse

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Social Care (or working towards)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Health & Social Care where you have been a Senior Carer or a similar position with leadership responsibilities especially around administering medicines and leading a shift
  • Knowledge and understanding of the person-led care planning process and the relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns
  • Required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to role

  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds, including patient presentation and coordination of care with consulting services
  • Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, pediatric trainees, nursing teams, and interdisciplinary colleagues to promote optimal clinical outcomes and patient safety
  • Manage patients with complex medical needs, including infections, exacerbations of chronic conditions, post-operative recovery, and technology dependence
