Requirements

You must hold a full and relevant Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare, recognised by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) or relevant awarding body
at least two years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within an early years setting
a strong understanding of the Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition, safeguarding and child protection procedures
be confident in leading a team to deliver high-quality care and learning for children aged 0–5 years, in line with Care Inspectorate standards
