This role sits within a well‑established Management Accounting team, working alongside experienced accountants to support a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in management accounts, financial reporting, and analysis while contributing to meaningful insights that support clients’ strategic decision‑making.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
  • Analysing financial data to help inform client decision-making
  • Working with clients across a range of sectors
  • Preparing bookkeeping records and VAT returns
  • Using cloud-based accounting software to maintain accurate records
  • Supporting process improvement and efficient ways of working
  • Gaining hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced accountants
  • Actively engaging in structured training and professional development
  • Developing strong technical, analytical, and communication skills

Requirements

  • Studying AAT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • At least 12 months’ experience in a role involving: Bookkeeping, VAT return preparation, Preparation of management accounts
  • Competent using Xero, Sage, and Excel
