The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) Apprenticeship Programme is in collaboration with Temasek Polytechnic to provide the approved training, to become certified LAME with Bombardier Aerospace Services Pte. Ltd. This Apprenticeship Programme not only offers workplace immersion programme opportunity prior to the start of Aircraft Maintenance Licence Training (AMLT) but also provide financial support and incentives to keep the engagement between the Company and trainees through the training journey. Suitable candidates will be employed by the Company as Trainee Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (TLAMEs). Upon successfully completion of the 45 months apprenticeship and an aircraft type course, trainee will be appointed as Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, subject to trainee meeting the Company’s certifying staff requirements and CAAS personnel licensing requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform maintenance task in compliance with Company’s policies and procedures, and relevant Aviation Authorities Rules & Regulations
  • Practice good housekeeping in and around customer aircraft so as to maintain cleanliness at highest level at all times
  • Prepare and upkeep equipment and tooling on daily basis
  • Good verbal and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Team player, task focused and target oriented
  • Contribute to continuous improvement to the Bombardier Service Centre Operations

Requirements:

  • Full-time diploma from one of the engineering fields: Diploma in Aerospace Engineering
  • Diploma in Mechatronics
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Diploma in Manufacturing
  • Diploma in Production Engineering
  • Other relevant engineering diploma may apply for consideration
  • Graduated or Operationally Ready Date (ORD) from 2023 onwards
