We are seeking a motivated and proactive Trainee Laboratory Supervisor to join the Adbri Masonry team at our Stapylton site. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in laboratory science, no prior laboratory experience is required, just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided. Working under supervision, you will develop practical laboratory skills while supporting routine testing and maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment. Key responsibilities include sample preparation, testing of masonry products, field sampling, equipment calibration, and data entry and analysis. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Laboratory Manager. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities to grow within a leading Australian company.
Job Responsibility:
Testing of Raw Materials and Masonry Products
Working with the operations team on R&D projects
Reporting of Results
Responsible for equipment checks and scheduling of calibrations
Ensuring laboratory compliance with the requirements of our NATA accreditation
Requirements:
Desire to start a new career or continue in the construction material testing industry
Self-motivated person, with a strong work ethic and initiative
Verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a team
Strong commitment to quality and safety
Nice to have:
Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques
