The purpose of this job role is to successfully manage from start to finish a portfolio of events. Due to growth, expansion and ambition, we’re actively seeking to recruit a new member to join our Events Team.
Job Responsibility:
Be responsible for a portfolio of national events ensuring these accounts are maintained
You will be the client’s main point of contact at BUKO
Look to develop your accounts by building strong relationships and being innovative
Show knowledge and expertise to design a Traffic Management Plan
Competently attend meetings of various natures and appropriately represent the company
Deliver your events covering all logistical aspects (staffing, vehicles, equipment etc)
Be responsible for and manage large numbers of people on events
Learn and adapt, in line with the company, in terms of new avenues of the events team and both support and be able sell these opportunities
Write, complete and submit tender bids
Work independently and manage own workload while meeting and exceeding any personal or department targets
Use existing company software such as our internal bespoke system (REPS)
Will be required to work hours and travel around the country to meet with clients and/or stakeholders based on the client’s requirements
Requirements:
You must be an organised, self-motivated and confident person
Professionalism and a mature positive attitude is paramount
You must be honest and reliable
You must have a good level of event industry knowledge (not necessarily in traffic management) and have previously worked on events
You must have an example, in some capacity, of a time you have demonstrated people management
You must have a driving license
You will be required to work extended hours and elsewhere in the country as well as spend nights away from home
You'll be required to work event weekends
