Proficient in CAD software
a qualification/background and interest within Engineering
detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
a proactive communicator who thrives in a team environment
experienced in engineering design principles and practises
capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
proficient in the operation and use of Microsoft-based software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc

Job Responsibility

Gain an understanding of points lists, components, electrical standards, and company standards
use design software to produce 2D/3D wiring diagrams
attend preliminary meetings to understand the project specifications and scope
manage RFIs, technical submittals and attend design meetings to understand project specifications and scope
fully understand the design requirements of each control system project, seeking information where required, and implement the control system design
gain knowledge of leading manufacturers equipment/systems
review and modify designs based on feedback from team members and clients
ensure that all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
research material properties in databases to identify the best materials for modelling
assist in project planning and timelines for timely delivery
