Job Responsibility:
Carry out enforcement activity, including executing Liability Orders
Make in‑person visits, assess circumstances, and secure payments or recover goods
Manage a varied caseload, using investigative skills to locate individuals, with a strong focus on persistent evaders and high‑priority cases
Identify non‑compliance or evasion tactics and respond with proactive, evidence‑led solutions
When needed, lead sensitive conversations - including with vulnerable people - using empathy, professionalism, and calm conflict resolution
Maintain accurate records, manage payments, and ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, and operational requirements
Work flexibly, including early mornings, some evenings, and occasional weekends, with travel and overnight stays where required
Requirements:
Clear communicator able to handle sensitive conversations and adapt to different and sometimes challenging situations
Outcome and results focused with a motivation to exceed personal and business targets
Resilient and persistent, maintaining motivation when managing obstacles or difficult cases
A full UK driving licence with at least 12 months experience and no more than 6 points
Makes sense of complex information and uses sound judgement to reach fair, practical decisions
Plans and prioritises effectively to stay organised and deliver consistent results
Takes ownership, follows through on commitments, and upholds high standards in all tasks
Be able to professionally and fairly assess people and their circumstances, navigate challenging cases and demonstrate empathy as required
Digitally capable and skilled at retrieving, analysing, and interpreting information to support decision‑making
Able to learn, understand, and apply policy, procedural, and regulatory requirements accurately
