Requirements

Experience in construction or a trade (e.g. plumbing, heating, mechanical, electrical)
Strong curiosity about the design and integration of complex systems and infrastructure
Some familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a bonus
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills

Job Responsibility

Assisting in the creation of BIM Models and CAD drawings for exciting projects
Learning to use Revit and AutoCAD software to support design development
Supporting the team with design layouts, calculations, and specifications
Helping prepare quotations and attending client meetings with senior staff
Collaborating with experienced engineers and designers to produce coordinated designs

Proficient in CAD software
a qualification/background and interest within Engineering
detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Job Responsibility

Gain an understanding of points lists, components, electrical standards, and company standards
use design software to produce 2D/3D wiring diagrams
attend preliminary meetings to understand the project specifications and scope
manage RFIs, technical submittals and attend design meetings to understand project specifications and scope
fully understand the design requirements of each control system project, seeking information where required, and implement the control system design
gain knowledge of leading manufacturers equipment/systems
review and modify designs based on feedback from team members and clients
ensure that all designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
research material properties in databases to identify the best materials for modelling
assist in project planning and timelines for timely delivery
