Job Description:

Aurizon’s Jilalan depot is seeking expressions of interest from safety focused individuals who would like undertake training to become a locomotive driver. To excel in this position you will relish to opportunity to learn new skills and put into practice what you are taught in the classroom to become a professional train operator.

Job Responsibility:

Apply theoretical knowledge from training to practical operation
Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures
Undertake Locomotive driver training and successfully complete modules within six months

Requirements:

All-encompassing focus on safety along with great interpersonal skills
Superior teamwork skills
Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster
Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
Be available to commence July 2026 and not have any prior commitments for the first 9 months of the training program
