Reynolds Food Group are a leading supplier of fresh fruit and vegetables to the foodservice industry and the last remaining national family-run greengrocer in the UK. Trainee Driver Academy (TDA): This program is designed for individuals with a strong work ethic, who want to become a qualified LGV/HGV Driver. Salary Progression: Basic salary of £31,724.16 during training. While gaining experience in a 7.5T vehicle, your salary will increase to £33,609.00. After being assessed in a 26T vehicle and once signed off, your salary will increase to £37,360. Career Development: Many drivers have progressed to other roles within the business, so there are unlimited career growth opportunities within the company.

Job Responsibility:

  • While training you may be utilised in a 3.5T vehicle or learn on the job with a mentor showing you all aspects of the job
  • After passing your theory and obtaining your Class 2 licence you will initially be driving a 7.5 Tonne vehicle for up to 8 weeks, so that you gain experience of driving an HGV vehicle
  • After this period, you will then be assessed by one of our assessors in an HGV Class 2 vehicle, on successful completion of this you will be classed as a Reynolds qualified Class 2 Driver

  • Want to become an HGV Class 2 Driver within 5 months

  • Provides feedback to participants in the Driver Trainee program Fleet Development leadership and Regional Training Center team members
  • Conducts facilitation audits on all Fleet Development roles
  • Conducts One Best Way consistency tours in Regional Training Centers with leadership to provide risk assessments
  • Ensures One Best Way compliance in Regional Training Centers
  • Ensures alignment with Fleet Development class content
  • Participates in Fleet Development content development and reviews to provide feedback and suggestions to the Learning Content Development team
  • Conducts assessment reviews in partnership with the Learning Content Development team to validate the accuracy of Fleet Development content
  • Supports the adoption of structural and change initiatives by engaging with associates within Regional Training Centers and catchment
  • Educates Driver Trainees on change initiatives through classroom training and virtual classroom facilitation
