Job Description:

Trainee Design Manager, Overbury. The role will report to the Construction Director and would be responsible for supporting and learning from Design Managers within the business. This role will be part of our Foundation Programme (early careers programme). The Foundation Programme provides a rounded perspective of our business via additional training, rotations and mentoring over 3 years.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting with environmental accreditation compliance
  • Assisting with tender documentation
  • Assisting with the review of proposed sub-contractor designs
  • Assisting in mock-up and sample sign off
  • Providing support to Project Managers, if design issues arise on site
  • Supporting with quality assurance
  • To support in managing sub-contractor and client relationships

Requirements:

  • A Level DD or
  • BTEC National Diploma PPP
  • Access to HE Diploma with 21 Merits or
  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in related subject or
  • Equivalent level 3 qualifications worth 64 UCAS points
  • 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent (reformed GCSEs grade 4 or above)
  • Legal right to live and work in the UK
  • Commitment to a career within the fit out sector
