Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Trainee Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our Extra Care team at Llys Raddington, Flint. In this role, you’ll support food preparation, make and bake desserts, and work towards achieving a Level 2 qualification in Hospitality and Catering. You’ll also help maintain kitchen supplies, ensure a clean and safe working environment, and contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in meal and ingredient preparation to support smooth kitchen operations
  • Help make and bake desserts for residents
  • Work towards Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering, and a recognized management qualification
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen in line with food safety standards
  • Assist with kitchen supplies and stock management
  • Support the cook/chef in daily kitchen operations
  • Follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and residents
