Job Description:

As a Trainee Business Developer, you will ensure business continuity by substituting and shadowing Business Developers in your Area Sales Manager’s (ASM) team. Manage customer relationships, drive sales, and secure excellent in-store execution following Business Developer’s guidance. Adapt quickly to different routes, priorities, and customer needs, making you a valuable partner to both the company and our clients. Gain hands-on experience and relevant commercial capabilities that prepare you for future appointments into a Business Developer role through specialized internal academies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure business continuity by substituting and shadowing Business Developers in your Area Sales Manager’s (ASM) team
  • Manage customer relationships, drive sales, and secure excellent in-store execution following Business Developer’s guidance
  • Adapt quickly to different routes, priorities, and customer needs
  • Gain hands-on experience and relevant commercial capabilities that prepare you for future appointments into a Business Developer role through specialized internal academies
  • Visit customers daily, alongside another Business Developer to maintain strong relationships and identify opportunities for growth
  • Execute sales activities, merchandising standards, and activations, ensuring brand visibility and availability according to Business Developer’s guidance
  • Support the market with insights by collecting and sharing customer information
  • Manage company assets placed in customer locations responsibly
  • Use our digital tools to access real-time insights and maximize effectiveness in the field
  • Collaborate with your Sales Team Leader (STL), ASM, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Trade Marketing) to deliver results

Requirements:

  • University degree (AEI/TEI or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in sales, Horeca or in small retail will be considered an advantage
  • Valid driving license
  • Availability and flexibility to move across territories within your assigned ASM area
  • Ability to work independently, always focusing on customer needs
  • Strong results orientation, passion for sales, and ambition to grow your career
