If so, we have a great opportunity in our Asset Information Management Team, part of Engineering and Asset Management, as a Trainee Asset Information Technician.
Job Responsibility:
Undertake the creation and maintenance of wastewater and water supply network assets in a corporate GIS database, currently using ESRI ArcGIS/ArcPro
Edit records in the system, spending significant periods of time focusing on the screen whilst maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Digitise and enter tabular information, and undertake topological and visual checks for completeness
Edit our live GIS networks using data ranging from field data to Engineering drawings
Access site data from Microsoft Dynamics and viewing it via Qlikview reports
Liaise with other staff to ensure the data captured is of the required accuracy and quality
On occasion, provide hard copy maps and reports to the business
Requirements:
Highly organised person who has excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated, using own initiative, and working under moderate supervision
Work confidently with other team members and colleagues throughout the company
Nice to have:
experience using maps/GIS software and knowledge of asset data
using Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL query tools
using ESRI ArcGIS/ArcPro software
knowledge of Microsoft, Excel, SharePoint, Dynamics, and Qlikview reporting
