Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Trainee Accountant to join our dedicated team. Job Responsibility

  • Bookkeeping & Data Processing
  • Processing and reconciling bank statements, sales, purchases, and nominal ledgers
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
  • Maintaining accurate and current financial records for clients
  • Responding to client queries related to bookkeeping
  • Accounts Production
  • Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Assisting with year-end procedures alongside senior accountants
  • Preparing working papers and supporting documentation
  • Personal Tax
  • Assisting in the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns
  • Gaining insight into various income streams, expenses, and tax reliefs
  • Organising and reviewing client tax data
  • Understanding basic compliance for personal taxation
  • Corporate Tax
  • Supporting the creation of corporation tax computations and returns
  • Learning about corporate tax compliance requirements
  • Conducting research into tax legislation and HMRC guidance
