Job Description

Are you technically minded, a true team player, and ready for a dynamic job in the port? Then we have the perfect challenge for you! For our Trailer department in Zeebrugge, we are looking for a motivated Trailer Technician to join our team.

Job Responsibility

  • Carrying out 6-monthly preventive maintenance
  • Preparing for and executing the annual vehicle inspections
  • Mounting and assembling bearings
  • Repairing and testing brakes
  • Repairing curtains (tarpaulins) and the superstructure of the trailers
  • Accurately maintaining maintenance logs for all trailers (administrative follow-up)
  • Working both indoors and outdoors

Requirements

  • Secondary education diploma in a technical field (or equivalent through experience)
  • Valid category B driver's license
  • Willing to undergo training
  • Conditions for a positive safety clearance for critical functions in the port.

Nice to have

Category CE driver's license is a major plus
