Apprentice with minimum of Level 1 Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic
Registered Apprentice with the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board
Passed the Apprenticeship entry exam
Experience working on tractors and trailers as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic would be an asset
Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities
Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers
Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)
Class 5 Driver’s License
Can stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less

Job Responsibility

Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action
