Job Description

Randstad CPE are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshall for an immediate start on a high-profile construction project in West Thamesmead (SE28). This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a dedicated individual looking for steady, ongoing work with a highly respected contractor.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely directing and controlling site traffic and delivery vehicles
  • Liaising with delivery drivers and site management to schedule arrivals
  • Ensuring the main gates are kept secure and pedestrian safety is maintained at all times
  • Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations on-site

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Marshall ticket
  • Proven experience working as a Traffic Marshall on busy construction sites
  • Previous experience working on Ministry of Justice (MOJ) or high-security projects is highly ideal
  • A clean criminal record is essential
  • Holding a valid DBS certificate is highly desirable due to the nature of the site
  • Must have your own full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis jacket/trousers, and steel toe cap boots)
  • Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working on Ministry of Justice (MOJ) or high-security projects
  • Holding a valid DBS certificate
