Job Description

As a Traffic Marshal, you will play a key role in maintaining the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians around worksites and public areas. You will act as a visible point of contact, helping to reduce risk, support site operations, and ensure safety standards are met at all times.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely manage and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around sites, roadworks, and public areas
  • Set up, maintain, and remove traffic management equipment (cones, barriers, signage) in line with site instructions
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including site-specific rules and the Highway Code
  • Communicate clearly with drivers, site teams, and members of the public
  • Report hazards, incidents, or concerns promptly to the site supervisor
  • Assist with emergency procedures when required
  • Represent CSP Ltd professionally at all times

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Traffic Marshal or similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Strong awareness of health and safety
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willing to travel to different sites where required
