Job Description

Randstad is currently recruiting for an experienced, reliable Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Gate Person to join a high-profile, major tier-1 school construction project in the Eltham area. As the gate person, you will be the face of the site, responsible for the safe management of site plant, delivery vehicles, and pedestrian safety.

Job Responsibility

Safely directing and managing heavy plant, delivery vehicles, and wagons arriving and departing from the busy site entrance
Liaising closely with the site management team regarding delivery schedules
Ensuring members of the public and pedestrians are kept safe during vehicle maneuvers
Maintaining a clean, organised, and secure gate environment
Adhering strictly to the site's health, safety, and environmental protocols

Requirements

Must hold a valid CPCS (A73) or NPORS (N403) Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Signaller ticket (Essential)
Valid CSCS card
Full Orange PPE (High-Vis jacket/trousers, hard hat, steel toe-cap boots)
Minimum 2 years of experience managing busy site gates for major contractors
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward site safety
Ability to provide two valid working references from recent construction projects
