Job Description:

We are BUKO Traffic & Safety – a trusted name in temporary traffic management. We have one clear purpose: To keep people safe, projects moving, and clients confident – on the road to safety, together. We are ideally looking for trained operatives to join our team, however if you don't have any qualifications, but are eager to start a career in Traffic Management, we offer Training & Development opportunities in-house.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set up and close down temporary lights including 2-way signals, Multiphase Signals and Pedestrian Signals
  • Stop and Go services
  • Traffic Marshall/ Gate duty responsibilities
  • Support/lead lane closures for dual carriageways
  • Complete relevant weekly paperwork including timesheets, vehicle checks, etc
  • Shift work and working outside in all weathers

Requirements:

  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Live within one hour of the Depot location
  • Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
  • Must be holding a Unit 2, or 12D M1/2 – M6 Lantra Qualification

  • Load and unload traffic management equipment safely
  • Communicate clearly with team members, drivers, and the general public
  • Respond quickly to changing traffic conditions and incidents
  • Conduct site risk assessments and report hazards or near-misses
  • Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition
  • Complete job sheets, timesheets, and relevant paperwork accurately
