The Traffic Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the shipments with freight forwarder partners, communicating with brokers and suppliers, and coordination with the customs team.
Job Responsibility:
Receive bookings from the freight forwarder via their online platform and proceed to verify shipment details before sending them to the production teams
Once bookings are approved on the platform, update the SQL database and create an appointment in the File Maker tool
Update shipments in the database to ensure production tracking is up to date
Notify production of shipping delays in transit and update data in the tracking tool
Communicate any transport anomalies to the freight forwarder if necessary
Create shipments in SQL for each purchase order
Update estimated time of departure (ETD), estimated time of arrival (ETA), and estimated time at warehouse (ETW) as needed
Verify freight forwarder invoices
Requirements:
Proficiency in MS Office 365, with an intermediate level in Excel
1 years of experience in a similar position in logistics
Bilingual French and English
the person will be required to communicate daily with internal and external suppliers
