Traffic Control Person

• Safely direct traffic through the work zone
• Ensure the safety of the motoring public and work crew
• Erect traffic control signage in accordance with provincial guidelines (WATCM)
• Set up of traffic control devices such as cones, drums, and candles
• Assist with other groundman duties as required: Pulling lasher
• Lift/Move up to 50lbs
• Gather materials, etc

• Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Abstract Required)
• Have or are willing to obtain Traffic Control Certification(s)
• Safety-focused mindset
• Hard working and able to work with others, and with minimal supervision
• Willing and able to travel within Atlantic Canada

Previous Traffic Control/Labour experience is considered an asset, but not required
