Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trading Terms Accountant on a 12mth FTC, to join our Corporate team at Macquarie Park (NSW). This role will be responsible for maintaining a central register of Trading Terms agreements/commitments for all suppliers across the food Pillar of Metcash. This role will provide data analysis and reporting to ensure all terms are accurate, and secure. This role works in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is essential

Job Responsibility

  • Review and analyse existing and new/proposed terms, compare versus current terms, category average and identify risks and opportunities. Communicate findings to key stakeholders
  • Load approved Trading Term Agreements into all relevant systems
  • Generate reports and data from systems to analyse and complete Supplier account reconciliations where required and raise necessary back claims providing supporting documentation
  • Create and maintain vendor master details including payment cycles, bank details and buy period, action Supplier change of ownership and vendor deletion
  • Complete Supplier in liquidation, administration & receivership reconciliations and raise necessary supporting documentation for outcome

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Excel
  • High level of numeric accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritise
  • Analytical and investigative skills
  • Relevant qualification in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business degree/background (desirable)
