Job Description

As a Barista at Four Seasons Resort Hualālai, you create moments of comfort, connection, and delight through the craft of coffee and beverage service. Whether preparing a guest’s morning coffee or an afternoon specialty drink, you bring care, precision, and a genuine sense of hospitality to every interaction. In this role, you help create a welcoming environment where guests feel at ease, cared for, and inspired to enjoy the simple pleasures of their day.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with attention to detail, consistency, and a strong sense of craftsmanship
  • Engage with guests in a warm and genuine manner, offering thoughtful recommendations and sharing knowledge of flavors, origins, and preparation methods
  • Create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere where guests feel comfortable and valued
  • Ensure each order is prepared and presented with care, confirming accuracy and quality before serving
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond with a sense of urgency, professionalism, and genuine care
  • Handle transactions with accuracy while maintaining a seamless and attentive service experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented workspace that reflects Four Seasons standards
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver a smooth and elevated guest experience

Requirements

  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating meaningful guest experiences
  • A warm, approachable presence with the ability to connect naturally with guests
  • Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail in both product and service
  • The ability to remain calm, organized, and positive in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support the team
  • Previous barista or food and beverage experience preferred (minimum two years required)
  • Comfort with POS systems, cash handling, and guest-facing operations
