Looking for a clean, highly organised installation project? Tired of massive, chaotic construction sites and want to work in a small, focused team? Are you a reliable mechanical TA or labourer looking for premium contract rates? Want to lock in a stable, local 5-6 week project on the outskirts of Woodend? If you are a motivated Trade Assistant who takes pride in your work, this is a fantastic short-term earner. Our client is an industry-leading specialist in industrial Air Pollution Control systems. They are adding a reliable Trade Assistant to their team for an upcoming Odour Control Unit installation starting Monday, June 29th.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the handling and positioning of a 12-metre vent stack, industrial fans, filters, and a fibreglass storage tank
  • Manage hand and power tools, prep PVC and fibreglass pipework, and assist with structural aluminium platform assembly
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and strictly follow safe Working at Heights protocols

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Trade Assistant, mechanical labourer, or within commercial installation environments
  • Comfort using a variety of hand and power tools safely
  • Must hold a valid Working at Heights (WAH) certification

Nice to have

Holding a valid EWP Licence (Elevated Work Platform) or a Confined Space ticket
