Job Description

Looking for a clean, immaculate workshop environment in the Western Suburbs? Tired of dirty, greasy labouring roles and ready to learn high-spec assembly work? Do you take immense pride in your workspace and possess strong attention to detail? Want a stable, full-time permanent day shift that guarantees a great work-life balance? If you are a reliable, hands-on Trade Assistant or mechanical labourer who wants to work in a pristine environment with high-end equipment, this is a fantastic opportunity. Our client is a rapidly expanding, premium original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specialising in high-spec industrial fluid systems and custom pump packages for the Australian mining sector. Due to a sustained growth phase across the business, they are expanding their state-of-the-art production facility and require a dedicated Trade Assistant to support their mechanical engineering team.

Job Responsibility

  • Component Handling: Support the preparation and layout of structural skids, specialised pipework networks, hydraulic hoses, and system sensors
  • Workshop Logistics: Manage the flow of tools, parts, and materials to ensure the assembly floor operates at maximum efficiency
  • Pristine Housekeeping: Maintain an exceptionally clean, organised, and safe workshop floor, ensuring all workspace layouts adhere to strict safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven background working as a Trade Assistant, workshop labourer, or within a mechanical manufacturing/assembly environment
  • High competence using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely
  • Absolute pride in your work
  • Punctual, reliable, and notices the little things
  • Reliable transport to get to the Derrimut workshop

What we offer

  • Earning Stability: A secure, full-time permanent base rate of $30.00-35.00 per hour + Super, providing long-term career stability
  • Genuine Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a highly structured, predictable day-shift routine with zero forced overtime or sudden weekend rosters
  • Premium Environment: Work within a bright, clean, and highly sophisticated manufacturing warehouse alongside a supportive team
  • Real Career Longevity: This business is growing quickly, making it the perfect time to get your foot in the door with an industry leader
