Job Description

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Trades Assistant (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our Utilities team in Brisbane. This full-time role supports water and wastewater infrastructure under the Urban Utilities MECS contract. The Trade Assistant supports electrical and mechanical trades in performing reactive, corrective, and programmed maintenance on Urban Utilities Water and Wastewater assets. The role involves hands-on support, equipment operation, warehouse duties, and participation in after-hours maintenance as required.

  • National Licence to perform High Risk work (Desirable)
  • Experience using HIAB trucks
  • Experience driving Heavy Rigid trucks
  • Confined space entry experience
  • Willingness to upskill and undertake additional training for ongoing development and potential trade skills knowledge advancement.
