Job Description

Our client is seeking a Trademark Paralegal to join their team in NYC! Pay $45 per hour MUST HAVE TRADEMARK PARALEGAL EXPERIENCE Remote - must be located on the East Coast

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and oversee filing, prosecution, maintenance and transfers of intellectual property domestically and internationally
  • WIPO applications, transfers and maintenance filings
  • Docket review and report preparation
  • Correspondence with clients, counsel and outside counsel on prosecution and maintenance requirements
  • Administrative support for data entry, invoices, deposit account, practice alerts and rule changes
  • Draft Office Action Responses and client correspondence
  • Review specimens
  • Legal research
  • Notarization
  • Order Corporate Charters from United Corporate Services
  • Coordinate legalization of documents used domestically and internationally
  • Prepare and file documents in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Proceedings, Cancellations and Oppositions

Requirements

  • A Bachelor Degree or relevant work experience required
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience required
  • Prior Law Firm experience a strong plus
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office 2010 suite of products
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on providing quality customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Prior trademark paralegal experience
  • Experience using AltLegal
  • Proficiency with Canva for basic materials/design support
  • Experience handling both U.S. and international trademark filings and maintenance
