A large international law firm is seeking an experienced Trademark Litigation Paralegal to support high-stakes trademark matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). This is a priority hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity supporting complex TTAB proceedings for sophisticated clients in the firm’s San Francisco office, with an initial onsite requirement of up to four days per week during training and a transition to two to three days onsite once fully ramped. This role is best suited for a paralegal with hands-on Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) experience who is comfortable managing matters through all phases of trademark litigation and working semi-autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive trademark litigation support across all phases of TTAB proceedings, including oppositions, cancellations, motions practice, discovery, trial preparation, and potential appeals
Prepare and file TTAB pleadings and submissions, including Notices of Opposition, Petitions to Cancel, Answers, counterclaims, affirmative defenses, and related motions
Manage TTABVUE filings, service and proof of service requirements, and internal file alignment
