Job Description:

The Trade Support Analyst is a developing professional role responsible for supporting multiple aspects of the loan trading lifecycle. This role requires the ability to analyze and communicate complex information clearly and effectively to clients, the trading desk, and senior management. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, accountable, ethical, results-driven, trustworthy, and credible. As the team transitions to LIQ, our new product processing platform, the analyst will also contribute to troubleshooting system issues and supporting the implementation of updated workflows.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting multiple aspects of the loan trading lifecycle
  • Coordinating across various internal teams to ensure prompt and accurate application of commitment reductions and other lifecycle events
  • Processing corporate actions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Facilitating client onboarding
  • Managing trade allocations
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and reporting
  • Analyzing and communicating complex information clearly and effectively to clients, trading desk, and senior management
  • Troubleshooting system issues in LIQ, AMC, LoansQT
  • Supporting implementation of updated workflows
  • Backing up several trade support functions such as onboarding, allocations, and corporate actions
  • Interpreting data and preparing reports for management
  • Making resolution recommendations based on identified trends and facts
  • Participating in and supporting implementation of projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Minimizing risk to the bank through solid understanding of procedural requirements
  • Timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries and issues related to loan trades

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process
  • Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
  • Able to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
  • Reasonable awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies
  • Quantitative skills with a high proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft based programs
  • Experience with LoanIQ is highly desired
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to constantly learn and take on new projects
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
