We are looking for a skilled Trade Support Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering the opportunity to work with a global investment management firm renowned for its expertise in asset-oriented investment strategies. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing and valuing a range of financial instruments, contributing to innovative transactions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate and price diverse financial instruments such as equities, fixed income securities, derivatives, and structured products for transactions and reporting purposes
Conduct thorough reviews of third-party valuations for both private and public companies across various industries
Apply advanced valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow modeling, option pricing, and comparable transaction analysis
Perform detailed market, industry, and economic research to support investment decisions and valuation processes
Prepare and present detailed reports summarizing key valuation findings and actionable recommendations
Analyze and interpret complex financial, legal, and corporate documentation to support valuation efforts
Address valuation challenges in specialized areas such as renewable energy, real estate, and operating businesses
Manage multiple projects and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of results
Collaborate with senior team members to refine valuation methodologies and enhance analytical practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
a Master’s degree is preferred
3–5 years of experience in valuation, financial analysis, or transaction services, ideally within a Big 4 accounting firm or a reputable advisory organization
Strong expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques for equities, debt, and derivatives
Proficiency in software and tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and advanced Excel functions
Familiarity with accounting standards like ASC 815, ASC 740, and ASC 820
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience with Python programming or progress toward a CFA designation is considered an asset
