Job Description:

Step into Magnet as a Trade Salesperson and help bring kitchen projects to life. As a Trade Salesperson in our Portsmouth store, you will play a key role in strengthening relationships with local tradespeople, growing our account base, and ensuring every customer receives exceptional service. At Magnet, you’ll be part of a supportive, design-led team where your ideas are valued and your experience makes a real impact. With great products, strong customer demand, and industry-leading training, you’ll have everything you need to thrive.

Job Responsibility:

Creating a welcoming environment for all our customers visiting the store
Maintain and develop strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Gain excellent product knowledge to best meet customer needs, helping to increase sale opportunities
Support stock management, deliveries and help keep a safe working environment
Proactively reach out to potential customers to open new accounts as well as maintaining regular contact with the current account base

Requirements:

Have great customer service skills and a personable manner
Motivated to learn and deliver product knowledge
Team-focused with a positive can-do attitude
Desire to learn design software if required
Capability to manage to stock
IT literate

Open to undertake Forklift Truck Training if required
